Do the Engine MIDI outputs power a MIDI thru box?

MIDI Output 1 does provide enough power to power a passive MIDI thru box.

MIDI Output 2 *does not* power a passive MIDI thru box.  If you need to use a MIDI Thru box on MIDI output 2, you will need a powered MIDI Thru box.
